medellia, you get helvetica, it is a classic san serif font. however, it is often overused in modern design.

do you want a font?
you can have one.
you can have Optima. i'm not entirely sure who designed it at the moment. but it is an interesting font in that way that it is sans-serif, but has the readability elements of a serif font. woo

im taking helvetica wether you like it or not, it is the king of fonts and is only overused in the same way that air and water are overused.

hmm, let me see here.
it seems that i'm using only modernist era fonts. oh well. i'm sure none of you mind.
ok you get bodini, which is a serif font, of a more traditional style. often associated with traditional texts.

woo! a fellow designer that understands me!
have you heard of stephen heller? he's a designer on a crusade to rid helvetica from design. it's quite funny

no! i havnt! but im going to track him down and murder him!
i like helvetica, i do use it a bit much admittedly, but that's just cause it rules. there's a reason its used so often, something mystical about it......it connects with the heart, and speaks to the soul.......

Yeah, I can dig that. Very nice.
I have a question, though. What, if any, difference is there between serif and san serif fonts?

I can answer that. Serifs are the little caps/feet on the ends of letters, for example times roman is a serif font. The word sans means without, therefor sans serif means without the little caps/feet on the ends of letters. I work with fonts all day long. How exciting ;)
ps i'm very disappointed you're not answering using the actual font. most of the ones so far are default windows fonts, so all it would take is a font tag

good question.
sans serif fonts are like the one we are using on here. the letters are smooth, and don't have those little tails on the ends.
serif fonts have those little things. look at times new roman, for example
