I bet it's better, like a nicely aged wine

snort a little and if it still has some kick and makes your eyes water and burns the shit out of your nose, it's still good.

i assume horseradish has some sort of pickling component like vinegar or something in it so i wouldn't worry too much. it's only a sandwich. but then again i would advise against not having a mug of it for dinner, ya know what i mean..

in subway they used to do this aaaammmazing dijon horseradish sauce but sadly no longer, despite my protests. bastards.

i heart condiments!

You should be less concerned about the horseradish being expired and more concerned about your mispronunciation of the word "sammich".

Na..experation dates are crap man. Most stuff doesn't really go bad, they just do that so you'll keep buying MORE. consumerism.

unless it actually has mold on it. then the shit is bad.

what about medicine? i have a bottle of tylenol that expired in 2002. i heard expiration dates on medicine are BS, but i forget exactly how BS. is 2002 a little too expired, or is it ok to keep taking it? the bottle's practically full, i don't get headaches too often, it'd be a crime to waste it.

most medicine simply gets weaker as it ages, but dosn't "go bad" so to speak. it is still ok with 5 years of the experation date. after that the potencency is very low probably not worth taking unles syou take alot and that's where things could get dangerous.

My dad is (should say was because he's deceased) a doctor. legally they can't give out samples of meds that have expriend in the US. however, many offices and clinic box up the expired meds and send them to clinics in 3-world countries. those people have such little access to meds that it doesn't matter that they are slightly less potent.

it's funny how horseradish sits in the fridge for that extended period and we never notice it... my house is the same way... unless i'm on a muddy blary kick and use a bottle of it in a week...

Before they started dating everything, my dad ate out of the same bottle of horseradish for ages and ages, so I bet you'll be just fine. :)
