View Full Version : Best "Monkey" song ever? "Brass Monkey"

A lot of songs mention monkeys. But "Brass Monkey" in my mind has to be considered THE best "monkey" song ever.

I'm thinking about this because Blender magazine's Web site has a poll on their homepage for "Best Monkey Song" - and of course, "Brass Monkey" is there, next to "Monkey Wrench" from Foo Fighters and "Hey Hey We're the Monkees" of course from the Monkees. Which I have to say is a good monkey song.

But running away with it is "Hockey Monkey" by the Zambonis (?), and man, there's no way. I mean, c'mon.

uh.... monkey songs.

I'm trying to think of others. There's a Beatles monkey song. and i'm drawing a blank on the rest.

"brass monkey" is the only good song worth mentioning....then again it's the only one i can think of at the moment, so there you go i guess :rolleyes:
