"Matches the glossy, calculated kinkiness of a pay-cable television series to a story that unfolds like a Young Adult author's stab at a Bret Easton Ellis novel."

-- John Beifuss, COMMERCIAL APPEAL (MEMPHIS, TN)

perfect description. don't see it. I mean, unless you want to be bored or you love rolling your eyes. or if you want to see james woods with his hand down his underwear stroking his junk.

I'd really like to see a good movie, not a movie that pretends to be good.

I just saw Primer, which was really good. But you kind of have to watch it with a wide awake mind because it takes some concentration. It's about two engineers who attempt to patent something and by mistake make a time machine. It's a very complex plot with some slightly amusing scenes like two guys in ties and white dress shirts stealing car parts, or the concept of trying to figure out if you would have done something in the future. It was heavy in the technical speak, explaining it all, but the basic ideas and story were really thought provoking. And I thought they did a pretty good job of explaining it, and of delving into the practical aspects of time travel - they decide to invest in stocks.

I really liked You and Me and Everyone We Know.

yeah. I wonder when hollywood is going to tire of the whole "lolita" story line.

sounds interesting, I like time travel stuff. Cort and her new beau are going to watch Me and You and Everyone We Know together tonight. luckily I have somewhere to be. I don't know if I can handle the cuteness just yet.
