First Date Woes

You ever been on a date when your date can't hold the alcohal like you can and throws up?

It happened to me last weekend (not me, my date)

We were in a very populated club and i was waiting for her to come out of the bathroom and she never came out. At first I thought their was a backdoor or something haha.

To make a long story short, i called her, left her messages for like 45 minutes but never got in contact with her so i decided to go down the street to this martini bar to wait. She finally called back, she threw up a little at the table (thank god not on me)..so then i took her the hell home where again she threw up on the sidewalk.

I think we may just be friends from now on:)

I got this girl beat. it was a second date though. I was a sophmore in college and all my soroity sisters were going to a frat party that night. I invited this guy I had only been out with once to pick me up from the party and we would hang out. except at the party I drank 3 shots of tequila and 2 8oz glasses of spodi (sp?) made with everclear. By the time he came to get me I was smashed. by the time we got back to his apartment I was sick. so sick. I don't remember much, but I remember siting on the floor of his room barfing for what seemed like two hours into a bucket he had got for me. He did hold my hair for quite some time while this was going on..so he got points there. Luckily i woke up on his bed (fully clothed I might add I probably reaked of puke which is a mighty good defence against date rape) feeling like I had just died. I was so embarassed and in so much pain. I had a hangover for 48 hours. And he said he was really worried and hoped I never drank like that again.

He continued to date me for a few weeks after that. but it turns out he was just in it for the nookie. :rolleyes: you guys really will put up with quite a bit just to get laid. hee hee.

This sorta happened to me once. A friend came in from out of town, we used to date, and we went to see the Ringer...our plan was to sneak booze in and just get drunk.

I made the mistake of bringing the bottle of rum in with us, instead of just drinking what we had mixed in our coke bottles.

I'm not sure if he knows I got sick, but yeah we had to cut the night a bit short.

the martini bar i made reference to is Bar Louie's (http://www.barlouieamerica.com/stationsq.html), which is a really cool place (bar, food)...but known for the martini's.


I didnt kiss the girl good night, that would be gross. I didnt get this girl drunk. We were at the club and she bought her own drinks. I remember her saying "your slow, drink faster." Which i can do with beer, but not liquor. For me, I never get sick drinking rum, but vodka makes me fucking sick, which she was drinking that night

Some people dont know their limit with alcohol. My grandfather, and dad used to be alcoholics, im sure that only helps/hurts me with the drinking.

BAR LOUIE! they have dollar burgers on tuesdays. I mean, I just found this out because I went there last week because cort made me, otherwise I wouldn't go there because it's an expensive chain bar and they suck. but my burger was only a dollar, so that was neat.
