....wow, I like this show.
I've only seen season one -- season two's not on DVD yet -- but I was really surprised and impressed.
Hooked, I tell ya! Hooked! (y)

...kind of funny that, arguably the best thing Mark Wahlberg's ever done is a show he isn't even in.
What else has he done that's better, maybe? Maybe Three Kings.

dude, Boogie Nights.
I'd say my favorite character that he has played was Tommy from I Heart Huckabees. The movie overall wasn't my thing...but mark wahlberg was fucking great in that movie.

ABSOLUTELY.

The Italian Job
That was okay, but not great.
Planet of the Apes sucked infertile girilla balls. The whole premise was fucked. Pro astronaut watches his pet get probably-VAPORISED, so he'll hijack one of the ships to go find it?
They should've left all those monkeys at their typewriters a little longer.
Man! that movie was a blown opportunity.

I like Entourage a lot. This is a show that needs to be an hour long each week.
I'm afraid it may get stale after a while though. There's only so many ways you can twist Vince searching for his next movie.
Season 3 starts in June, can't wait.
And the car they drive in the beginning of each episode is fucking boss as hell.

You know what was funny? -- the theme song was kind of irritating me, and I was thinking, "Wow -- who are these Jane's Addiction wannabees?" Later in the commentary I realized the Jane's Addiction wannabees were Jane's Addiction. v2.0, but still.
Wow -- that's quite a drop. I hadn't heard Strays, so I didn't realize what a desperate gasp it was, if this song is indicative. :(

what i like about Entourage is its not really about Vince anymore, its about how Ari and Eric manage Vince's career...
"lets hug it out bitch"
abcdefz, season two ends on a pretty crazy note as far as Ari is concerned...

:D
-- I loved that moment when Eric throws down about do-your-agent-shit-and-get-us-Queen's-Boulevard! and the changing reactions Piven does. God, that was brilliant. He goes from amused to pissed to threatened to amused to shocked to pissed in the range of about three seconds.

NO SPOILERS! :D
Yeah, I don't know anything about season two of Lost, either.

Wahlberg was good in Fear. Actually a better actor than expected.
Entourage is basically a show about dudes hanging out. Is the calf workout from Season one or two? Classic line that my buddies use all the time, now.

He's pretty good in just about anything; his movies just tend to not be so great.
Boogie Nights is way overrated. Fear's okay. Italian Job's okay. Three Kings is really good. Huckabees is an interesting failure.
The calf workout must be season two; I haven't seen it. What's the line?

season two, where they go to the Lakers game... "nice calves bro"
yeah, Entourage is the Sex and The City for dudes...
i loved when Larry David made a guest appearance as one of Ari's clients and Johnny asks Larry if there is a part on Curb your Enthusiasm for him...

...I hadn't thought about that. Maybe since Entourage is actually good.
I haven't seen that much of the Sex in the City series, but the male whoring around on Entourage feels way, way more believable than the stuff on S&tC. Maybe because there's less, maybe because it isn't used for gratuitous nude shots so much.

I like it becasue it isn't as over the top as it could be.
Yeah they drive around in Hummers and live in a 10 million dollar house, but that's not the story.
Plus, they don't fill time with nude scenes of that old hag Kim Catrall.

I didn't recognize Val Kilmer at all.
Kevin Dillon is pretty priceless. That could be a really one dimensional character, and so often, I'm really feeling his pain.
Adrien Grennier (?) is a wee bit uneven, but there's time when he just nails it. He's got a subtle I-don't-give-a-fuck-but-I'm-really-in-control thing going on that's pretty great.

I've never met a woman who liked the show.
I just got digital cable restored because of Sopranos so I saw a couple episodes from season 2 via on demand and it was better.
weird, a lot of the wimmins that i know like the show a lot. but only a handful of the guys i know like it.

Wow. Halfway through season three part two. This show's really gone downhill. :(
It never feels like anything's actually on the line anymore. The first two seasons, you got the feeling there might be actual
consequences, and maybe Vincent wasn't going to be able to just sail through everything. Now, the whole crew seems
to just breeze through.
SPOILER
Yeah, Vinnie gets dumped by Carla, but it's not like he doesn't have an agent waiting in the wings, or any number of women
he can still hook up with.
Hopefully disc two is better.

I just got season 3 part 2 in the mail. I've been waiting so long for it I just started watching season 4.
I'm sure even if its not as suspenseful it'll still be enjoyable.
Wow. Halfway through season three part two. This show's really gone downhill. :(
I remember when the show started and I watched semi-regularly and enjoyed it. But when I moved, didn't have HBO, etc., it seemed that the handful of times I had the opportunity to watch it, I didn'y enjoy it as much and just couldn't get into it. I heard that the Sklar brothers from Cheap Seats are on it now, though. (y)

the sklar brothers have small roles as agents at Ari's agency, they arent major recurring parts or anything like that.
i agree that this show lost its edge around season three...
Curb Your Enthusiasm on the other hand is pretty good.

I just sent Season 3, Part 2 back and I am still liking the show. I mainly watch for Ari, because he's my favorite character nd I feel like his role has been really solid throughout the series.
I'm still working my way through 'Oz' seasons as well. I'm on the last disc of season 3 right now and it makes me a little sad every time I finish a season of a show... but at least I know there's always more coming.
Except for when I finally get Season 6, Part 2 of 'The Sopranos.' Then it's all over. Suck.
Curb Your Enthusiasm on the other hand is pretty good.

Nice.
I still love me some entourage. Curb on the other hand isn't giving me the laughs that I'm used to getting this season.

Mrs Ari is fucking hot. i've seen all 4 series now, and it's going downhill but it's still better than any american show out there atm.
whoever said it's guy's version of sex and the city, good bloody point.
btw, i've met Holly Valance before, aka the australian Perfect 10 model in the early part of series 2

Season Four comes out today.
Without spoilers, what does anybody else think?
To me,
Season Two > Season One > Season Three (parts one and two).
