My friend works in the library here, and said they're filming some movie called Unaccompanied Minors. She found out who the director was and it's none other than - PAUL FEIG!!! AKA The creator of one of my favorite shows of all time (Freaks and Geeks), author of a great book "Kick Me", and director of some of my favorite episodes of Arrested Development AND the Office!!

Totally one of my idols in the comedic world...they're filming tomorrow, so I'm tracking him down and am gonna have him sign his book...OMG I'M SO EXCITED !! He seems like a really nice guy too, and definitly someone who doesn't get recognized all the time...YAY

And btw he's totally hooking me up with my future husband, B.J. Novak aka Ryan the temp on The Office.

BTW, I noticed Will Arnett playing Larry's agent in an old Larry Sanders Show. I had loved the guy who played his agent, but didn't know who Will was back then.

My friends and I are watching Sex and the City the whole way through, and the next episode is Will's! He likes to have sex in public or something...

Paul is a nice former midwesterner and you loved his show and bought his book so he'll be cool with the attention from you. :)

I just met him!! I waited around forever at the library and couldn't see him at all. Then finally I went downstairs and there he was! But he was busy...they were kicking people out because it was closing and so I just said to myself "now or never", went up and introduced myself and I was SO nervous and stuttering. But I'm like, Hi I'm a huge fan bla bla bla, and he was like "well you can stop me anytime to say that!" and then he said I should stick around or something but I didn't want to cause they were closing.

My friend went and had him sign my book for me since she was hanging around and he said something like "she had a lot of energy!" referencing me...I guess he wrote something like "Barbara - thanks for being so nice. You are awesome!". HAH! YAY
