Yeah so. Was walking to the tube after work today, and being that it was chucking-out time at all the museums, there were lots of tourists about. So I'm walking, and just ahead of me are a father and son, the boy is maybe about 4 or 5. Mom and a little girl (maybe 2) are just behind me. They were either Aussies or Kiwis (sorry, hared for me to tell those accents apart), not sure which.

Dad (conspiritorially): Ask your mother if she fancies a pint!

Boy: A what?

Dad: A pint!

Boy: What's that?

Dad: It's beer. Ask your mother if she fancies going to the pub for a pint!

Boy: No, I don't want to.

Dad: Why not? Just say, "We're off to the pub for pint, Mum!"

Boy (turns and yells): Mummy! Dad's trying to make me drink beer again!

i have these really nice nxt door neighbours and ther kids are aged 5 and 3 and the five year old started skool this year and her buddy is my younger sister(whos in yr 5), so they'll always come over and ask her to come over for a "play" and the parents get me to babysit them and stuff, and one day after skool ther mum comes over and gives my little sis a painting that the 3 yr old did for her, and on it it says "to my cousin" and the mum was laughing and shes like, "she considers you part of the family now, shes told everyone at kinder garden how ur her favourite cousin. and i was just like awwwww...
