last night....screening all alone

i watched the movie last night....first i preodered my movie pass then i drove like 2 hours then i walked in no one took my tickets and watched the movie all alone?.......no one showed up it was a little scary any one else have this happen to them?

my parents went last night with the passes i won from ThinkFilms, and they said there were about 30-40 people in theres, but it was pretty dead. they also brought me home 2 large 3x2 foot posters of AIFST, from the movies. they were giving it away to the 1st 20 people, and they were #1,2....they were reppin Canada's biggest bboy fan...they said it was great... fuck, i hate school.

i was afraid that the place wud be empty but it wasn't the theatre played the movie in one of the smaller screening rooms instead of the huge ones it was almost full for that room it was in. the room wasn't small i'd say medium

on line, i thought that they would be sold out. i picked them up and was told that it probably would sell out.

i took my son last night, and loved it! the up close scenes of mmm were awesome! i also loved the bits where it broke into like 50 or 60 shots at once. and the up close comparrison of mike and the weird lady dancing was hysterical!

i live in seattle and overall the theatre was about 1/2 way full. i could have cared less personally, i expected a full house, but i prefer it to be less full, more room to stretch out!

the crowd was cool and we had fun!

the t-shirts and prom tuxes rocked!

this movie captured the beastie's at their finest. i love being a fan!:p

my dad and i were going to see the movie when i got off the train, but the train was 3 hours late! and so we only saw 1/2 of the movie because of the dumb train was so late!:mad:

the theatre was about 3/4 full here in sacramento.... it was good, but i was p!ssed that the audio wasn't better, it wasn't in stereo, did anyone else have that problem or was it just sucky sacramento???

I went to the Thursday night showing in Latham, NY (near Albany) and there were a total of 23 people in the theatre!

I was actually glad there weren't alot of people there. I would have been pissed to wait 20 years for a Beastie Boys movie and have 2 assholes talking behind me the whole time (this happens at nearly every movie I go to lately)!!

A radio station was handing out movie posters (they had a total of 5) and I got a big poster, a 9X11 mini-poster and two postcard size prints too!:D

I saw it in Boston near Fenway...There were probably 30-40 people there. I totally sat in the back so I could dance all I wanted. TOTALLY buying the DVD.

yeah i got there like half an hour early and it was close to empty, but by the time it started it had a healthy amount of people in it, i wish i had organised this before hand maybe to meet a couple of you that woulda been cool. i thought the sound was okay they definately coulda bumped it up a notch. i didnt notice it wasnt in stereo neccesarily. if you mean it wasnt surround, then yes i agree. but damn was the hornblower thing loud! stupid wooden ski's. it was far less amusing than i was hoping. oh well it was worth it, the cat clip made up for it, and the camera person who was "squishing" the boys, if any of you remember that.
