Fuck yeah!
So me and my dad bought (well, my dad) a 01 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4 GDI yesterday.
I'm just back from a drive......it's so fucking nice! (y)
Just thought you all should know.
Oh no! Not a car!
Oh gosh! Cars are one of the most damaging things to the environment! You need a bike! Or a monorail! I ride a dolphin myself.

How is it on mileage (or KM-age in your case)? I heard the GDI is pretty good, similar to the VW/Audi FSI. And is it still pretty powerful?

Ooh I say that's pretty swish for a provisional driver. I don't like the big engines, I'm looking forward to swapping my mum's 2.0 for a 1.4. Heh.

yeah, take it from a guy who can't even spell out complete words.
Good job p or r. I was driving a company provided 04 Galant. Decent gas milage and it's got some power under the hood and not to mention the fact that it held up to par with my driving.

2.4 is hardly big. :p I've spent virtually all my driving life driving a 1.3.

I think it's gone somewhere in between 80000-90000 kilometers.
It's in mint condition with only one previous driver.(y)

Sorry, I didn't word that very well. I meant how is the economy? The GDI is supposed to drive like a regular petrol car but with economy more like that of a diesel.

Nice. New cars (or new to you) rock!
The marsclan is waiting on the 2006 Toyota Avalon. Sometime between 4/4 and 4/12 it should be on the lot.

Just checked out the Toyota US website, and the Avalon looks remarkably similar in profile to the Lexus GS. Nice car(y)

From what my dad read, it's not as economic as you would think. It drinks about 0.8 litres/10 km.
