when i was a kid i remember getting lost in the supermarket was always this threat that would haunt me whenever id be there and id remember that possibility. i had to be on task and pay attention to my target, my mother, so i wouldnt get left behind. it happened more than once ofcourse that id get distracted, looking at some product and when id look up again id be alone, my heart would start beating like a mutherfucker and id feel real hot, and it felt like such a big deal, like as if more time passed then what actually did, id picture being an orphan, never finding my mother in this huge place with so many busy people that didnt care about me being lost.
