Krav Maga

I've been looking for a Krav Maga club close to where I live, and haven't been having much luck. Then today I found out they teach it as part of my basic training for my new job.

Krav Maga is the discipline Sam Fisher uses in the Splinter Cell novels I like reading. From what i've read, it revolves around the notion that one does whatever it takes to incapacitate ones opponent. Whether it's a hoof to the balls or gouging their eyeballs out, everything goes. It sounds like a raw and unpredictable style of combat.

Yeah, pretty much. But there's a lot of discipline involved too, but I guess you really need discipline when someone attacks you and it takes everything you have not to tear them limb from limb...
