The US secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice, today admitted in Blackburn that the US had made "thousands" of tactical errors in Iraq, as she made a two-day visit dogged by anti-war protests.

Well, nice to know that they are now admitting they are a bunch of incompetent fuckwits. Now if they can just tell their electorate that they are likewise for voting them in to power, and then sticking their fingers in their ears to all the people who have been regularly pointing this out to them.

if, after all this, the Republican party still gets the presidency in 2008....i will finally conceded that there is, in fact, a Devil...and that he is firmly in control...

I think the Administration's incomptency takes primacy with this statement.
I believe that they are SO incompetent, that they actually intended to say they were competent, and fucked that up, resulting in this statement.
I think they're too incompetent to even admit their own incompetence without somehow fucking it up.
God damn Godel, Escher, Bach; I now turn everything I read into a recursion.

"Thousands of tactical errors" are apparently "the right strategy."
Yeah, I'll buy that.

Honestly, i think they already know a Republican will win due to the fact bush said "another president" will have to decide when to pull out of Iraq. Which in my paranoid little mind says "Don't worry, we'll be in there and in here for another 8 years."
premonition or pushing the problems off to another?

Seeing Condy shaking hands with Mark 'Sparky' Hughes at Ewood Park and being handed a Blackburn Rovers shirt will rank among the more surreal images of my life.
Although it seems they do both represent a pack of bastards that the vast majority of people hate. Hmmmmmm.
