my car got broken into which sucks but the suckiest of the suckfest is that my cds got jacked. Nothing valuable was visible so they must have just banked on something being in there.

Anyway, Ive decided to just replace my shit with an mp3 player rather than fuck with the whole bullshit of lugging around cds.


So...anyone know of a cheapass brand of cd player thats decent and has front aux inputs so I dont even have to fuck with the bullshit of running cords to the back of the dashboard and all that crap?

radio shack had one that was a tape player and with a hedphone jack on the face plate...... but this was 4+ years ago

Radio shack (except indie stores) don't sell car audio any longer. Every other system now has an AUX jack though.

Satelite radio would be "Da bomb" but since I don't even have a car, or a drivers license, I'm not quite on that level of baller status yet. What kind of satelite radio are you getting? I've had a trial on sirius and the old school and shade 45 stations are really good. Clint Sparks playing "Breakable or unbreakable" with Alicia Keys is priceless

I'd suggest getting something with an FM encoder as a feature so you can record shit of the radio as well as play stuff. Creative and Samsung make fairly robust units which are very small. IPods are okay but they are horribly overpriced and due to Apple's proprietary nature, any addition features usually need to be purchased i.e radio tuners, recorder etc, etc.
