I have to agree 100% with this New York Daily (http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/story/404710p-342739c.html)review on Morrissey's latest album.

On his seventh solo album, Morrissey, now 46, stills views himself as the world's most fantastic wretch, a man defined entirely by his inability to land the love he thinks will redeem him. This despite the fact that he long ago declared himself irredeemable.

I've been on a huge Morrissey kick all year, it's great to have him back in the scene. I don't have the slightest clue why, it's just great and that's that.

First of the gang to die (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkOn3w9L9ss&search=First%20Of%20The%20Gang%20To%20Die) I know it's old, but what a cool tune.

Any other Morrissey fans out there.

I've been thinking of making a 'Morrissey is God' t-shirt out of a white tee and a Sharpie.

Not because I really like Morrissey that much (Smiths are OK), just because it'd be a cool shirt.

I don't know you, but you don't strike me as a Morrissey fan.

The other day, out of the blue, I thought of what you said about a someone needing more Ramones and less Clash. Because I was needing more Ramones, and I never need any Ramones at all. So see, you can learn things from the internet.

I have a good friend who's a big Morrissey fan and she doesn't seem like a Morrissey fan either, so I guess I don't know what a Morrissey fan is like in 2006.

This hugely obsessed Scottish Morrissey fan has been sending me various leaked tracks of the upcoming album via MSN and it does sound awesome!

Documad, yeahwho is into lots of different music, so it doesn't surprise me that he'd be into Morrissey.

P.S. - Do I strike you as a Moz fan, whatever that may be...

Where I live, seems like the big Morrissey fans are usually gay, and their fandom peaked around the time they were coming out. Gross generalization, but what I've observed. :p

Yeah, well if you live in the Southwest, the generalization is that you're a Hispanic if you love Morrissey.

Interesting.

Hey, I'll have you know that the Morrissey fans didn't grow up here -- they are transplants.

No, I'm not gay. I've been with tons of women. Jeez.

^^ That's why I was surprised.

Sorry, I went off on a tangent there. It was DS's fault for asking me questions.

The new CD had the most depressing titles ever, didn't it? I was excited about it and then forgot. I've been avoiding music stores because of no money.

Ringleader of the Tormentors (http://3voor12.vpro.nl/3voor12/luisterpaal/luisterpaalalbum.shtml?10617791+27777432)

I like it. It's rockier than 'Quarry'.
