they arent master class but greece is alot better then australia, purely bcoz it plays european teams who are of a high standard, australia genrally plays oceana countries who are no where near as good. but then again soccer at profesional level gets almost no funding from the government so what more can u expect.

EUROs was fucking lucky, only because the Porto goalie made a stupid move. it woulda gone into ET or even penalty, and Porto would ended up winning anyway. so they're lucky... either way, people gathered around me saying "hell yeah greece won!" and my poor portugese friend sat crying.. he knows i dislike soccer so we didn't have any beef.

im not tlking about euro i no it was lucky, but still sometimes lucks all u need. but we've improved alot, and we still are better than australia, anyone will tell u that.

i went to fed square and watched it, really great atmosphere. infact the intire night was great, sept for the cops after the match down on lonsdale st, racist pigs beat me up. well kinda.cop hit my head against a glass window twice and kicked me in the stomach once. i've had a hedache that hasnt stopped since then.:(

well after the match all the greeks went to lonsdale st to celebrate (yes even though we lost we still celebrated) and part of the road had been blocked off coz of the crowds, and so some greek guys were on the road dancing the zorba and singing and that. and on the other side of the road ther were cops and the greeks lit flares and they were dancing around the flare.and as u all no flares are not allowed, but what the other officers had been doing was if a flare was lit they'd give the fine take the flare and put it out, that was it. well these to fuckwits decided to charge the people dancing with around the flare, and so they charge through and each officer grabs a guy, but they charged through the dancers picked em up and then went into the crowd. (where i was) so all of a sudden im knocked over, lying on my back and i stuck between the greek supporter the cop and the glass window of the shop behind me. and i couldnt move but i got a perfect view of what the cop was doing. im not sure if he saw me down there but he did look down and he seemed like he did. anyway so im down there and the the cops got the greek supporter pinned on the glass and hes beating the crap out of him.and then he looks down and moves his leg so that it hits me a\in the face and i hit my head on the glass, the crowds not getting involved but there yelling at the cops 2 stop, and then i got kicked in the stomach by the cop, hes still beating up the supporter, then a spectator goes over doesnt touch him or nothing but just says stuff like "mate come on please thats enough" he looks down once more and hit my head against the glass, then he grabbs the supporter and drags him to the car.
