I was about 12 or 13, I guess. Seventhor eighth grade, I think maybe it was actually the summer between the two, or close to it anyway. It was OK, It wasn't a boy I really, really liked or anything; it was more like, he was there and I was there and being young and dopey and full of hormones yet too terrified to actually do anything, one of us said something brilliant like "So...you wanna...like, kiss, or something?" So we did. I do remember not really being sure if I was doing it right and wondering if I should open my eyes but then I thought what if he opens his eyes and then there we both are withour eyes open, that will be weird, so I just kept mine closed, but I wasn't sure what I should do with my tongue either, but I'd heard I was supposed to open my mouth, and I wasn't sure if we were meant to take turns sticking our tongues in eachothers mouth or what but frankly that seemed kind of gross but that was what I'd heard so I just figured I'd compromise by keeping my tongue in my own mouth but wriggling it around a bit, which kind of seemed to be what he was doing as well, so I figured well OK then.

Then we walked down to 7-11 and got Slurpees.

First full on French kiss?

Eleven years old, at lunchtime, in the "gifted children's" lounge. I can't remember her name. After that, I had a different girlfriend in mid 9th grade and she told me that I tasted like ketchup when we kissed. I don't know how, I don't even like ketchup nor have I eaten anything with it that day but needless to say, my nickname changed from Penguin to Ketchup and it stuck with me till graduation.

It's funny that even now, a few of my buds still call me Penguin but I still and probably will never know what the term "kisses like a penguin" means.

i was 13. my first boyfriend (not counting this one guy that was like less than a day) in junior high. we had been "dating" for a week or so and i REALLY liked him. he was cute as hell. and i had just gotten my braces off. so one day after lunch i stowed the retainer and pushed him against the wall and rushed him. i think i surprised the hell out of him. he froze for a second, then commenced the kissing and all. it was so awkward and bad. oh lord. and my good friend's twin brother (whom i HATED) saw and was pointing and yelling and oh god. then we went to our next classes. sigh.

I was in year 8, so we were 13. She was more experienced than me, so she made the move (on our second date). She full on went for the pash like 20 minutes into the movie we were watching.
