FUCK! I'm never going to get my ear peirced agian!

holy fucking shit i've never felt a pain worse then this, i got my top right ear peirced-- a couple of days later i put a hoop in that fits perfectly around the ear part.. now a week later im trying to take it out, and its seriously fucking stuck! whenever i touch near the peircing it hurts-so-fucking badly i cant help but to silently scream and slam my eyes shut in pain, it sounds like im a wuss but seriously.. its like a feeling of a big needle is being SHOVED SLOWLY through with fire even if i touch it really gently. i have no clue how to get it out!! anyone have any ideas? i tried to just un-uttach the part where it clips kind of so it stays together--i got it half way undown but now it cant go any further undone, its seriously stuck.

you shouldn't have done that. you'll get infections and your whole ear will collapse on itself.

Go get some Anbesol, or whatever topical oral anaesthetic they sell over the counter in your area. It's antiseptic and it will numb the area in question. And for god's sake I hope you are washing your hands before and after fiddling around with that hoop.

My cartilage piercing healed within 6 weeks. But I religiously cleaned it twice daily with a medicated soap recommended by the piercing studio, and only wear a surgical steel ring or stud.

Gonna have to lose the piercing in two days, as according to the uniform rules you can only wear rings/studs in your lobes, not in the top of your ear.

^ that sucks. i really don't get why they don't allow ear piercings... unless they're plugs, which are crappy anyway. but otherwise.. if you have a clean appearance; piercings (especially on the ear) shouldn't be 'unacceptable' (n)

edit: my boss is fine with my lip ring which is cool, and i work on checkouts so i was expecting him to tell me to loose it instantly. i'll wait awhile till i get the eyebrow done.

Um, wtf...are you being sarcastic? I've had my top ear pierced for about 5 or so years now...your ear will not collapse on itself. It may get a little infected if you don't take care of it.
I've also got my tragus pierced, had no real trouble apart from it being a little swollen at times cuz I've hit it during my night's sleep... but just go to a piercer and get some medication for it (y)

Hey Moron, did they not tell you that when you perice your ear (anywhere actually) that you are NOT to change the fucking earing/jewlery until the thing is healed? you need to leave the original peircing in for about 4 weeks minimum, if not longer.:rolleyes: fucking dumb.

I don't like piercings they've always seemed kinda pointless to me. I mean if you're doing it to rebel then it's not really that much of a rebellion, cause everyone else does it too. I know plently of people with plenty of piercings and I don't hold it against them, but personally I don't see the point of putting yourself through all that pain and risk of infection just for a small bit of metal to be stuck in your skin
