Looks like academia doesn't dig the sound of science. Shame on them!

I'm just curious to know if anyone else has heard or read this...I was recently reading a book that said that 90% of Jewish people today are not technically Semitic. They are a people who used to be known as the Khazars who lived in the Caucaus Mountains and adopted Judaism as their faith in order to avoid being absorbed by the Muslims and Christians surrounding them. The real Semitics are Arabs. I don't know- I just found it interesting and then this thread came up so I thought I'd mention it.

I'd like to note that its fucking ridiculous when people take any statements regarding Israel that arent positive to be anti-semitic. its a corrupt country, and the source of a lot of problems. Deal with it.

You know -- in my entire life, I've never heard an anti-Semetic statement in real life: just movies or books or magazine articles.
