I wish there was a heart icon in the list. I love these photos ^^^ in particular. :D That you spend time doing little things together is so cool.

Yesterday at the gym, two women/regulars were on the machines to my left and they were griping about the fact that their kids are home from school for two weeks and how awful that was for them (the parents).

I honest to God could have cried at the thoughts of parents dreading having that kind of time with their kids. So after maybe 10 minutes of it, I said something. Which I hate to do but I'm stressed anyway so fuck it.

They'll blink and it'll be over. It was like that for me it seemed even though I took off every day that my son had off from school and until he didn't want to spend that kind of time with me anymore, I spent that time with him hiking, going to the zoo, just doing stuff. No regrets.

I think parents who don't spend time with their kids probably don't want to because they never have.

She started standing almost 2 months ago, but now she's walking like a pro. She also claps her hands when you say 'clap clap clap'. And she calls me 'dad'. Not 'dadadada' like before or 'daddy', just 'dad'. We have the exact same high chair, by the way.

Nata, she does grab her ear when she cries. I have no idea what that's about. I guess it's pretty universal.

OhmygodOhmygod!! These pictures have me grinning from ear to ear. I had no idea I loved babies so much! They are freakin adorable little things! And the best part is, they don't even know what's going on! Not like they're stupid or something, they're just so cute because it's all they know. Last Sunday, I was driving along a main road in the suburbs and saw a large woman (probably close to 300#) and a man (presumably her husband) and [their] two kids. The woman and man were using a bench at a bus stop and the kids were standing around the bench. The one kid was ~5 years old and was pretty scrawny--he probably weighed 60-70#. Just as I glanced over, I saw the mother pull back and punch the kid in the chest with a closed fist. Hard enough to send him reeling given his size & her mass. :mad: :(

Aww thanks ladies I have my softie moments from time to time. Seriously though that little girl changed my life. She taught me about a kind of love I didn’t even know was possible. Having her in my life was seriously the most special thing that has ever happened to me. Sadly it ended badly with her momma (yeah mostly my fault) but I’m hoping that one day we’ll be friends again so I can have her back in my life. No one will ever be able to convince me that she isn’t MY baby girl.

I'll cut to the point. I notice your kids are young, and your oldest happens to have some weight for his age.

Who has control over what and how he eats at that age? Definitely not him. He eats what his daddy feeds him and when his daddy feeds him. He sees his daddy being a rather big man and therefore, he wants to follow by example.

It's no problem for you being overweight, you've got your priorities set. I've been 60lbs over at one time but hey, we are old enough to study and shed the lbs.

I really think letting your kid overeat is a form of child abuse. Throughout school, they'll be known as the fat kid and all other horrible knicknames and not just that, it's an unhealthy lifestyle and it only gets worse and worse till something is done.

Dude, seriously. I've seen you get overly upset over some pics posted, yeah, they suck. People want to be attention whorish in their manners such as involving their kids in their idea of "being funny".

I'll cut to the point. I notice your kids are young, and your oldest happens to have some weight for his age.

Who has control over what and how he eats at that age? Definitely not him. He eats what his daddy feeds him and when his daddy feeds him. He sees his daddy being a rather big man and therefore, he wants to follow by example.

It's no problem for you being overweight, you've got your priorities set. I've been 60lbs over at one time but hey, we are old enough to study and shed the lbs.

I really think letting your kid overeat is a form of child abuse. Throughout school, they'll be known as the fat kid and all other horrible knicknames and not just that, it's an unhealthy lifestyle and it only gets worse and worse till something is done.

too bad that's not my kid and since I have been in his life I have worked with him to try and get him on eating more healthy food and excercise. learning to play football, skateboard, ect. Not that's it's any of your business or has any bearing on the guy with no kids calling me a pussy for calling out some bullshit pictures where the kids are obviously in trauma and bangkok thinking threatening kids with a form of torture to get obedience is an awesome way to raise kids.

yeah, photoshop is pretty amazing but those have zero signs of chopping... those are real and the fact these parents of the year chose to share their parenting skills with the internet astounds me.

one the pictures have no place in a thread made for those of us with kids to share some pictures. two, the fact that some here stand up for these pictures as being awesome and ignoring the fact that in the sandwich picture alone it's clear the baby is not in on the joke and is so upset and traumitized that it's spitting up.

having a baby, I can tell you they love playing and being held up high and all that stuff. it's takes real neglect to get a baby that pissed off. if that baby was already pissed off for something else before that picture why as a parent would you not address that before taking your comedy photos?

Ugh! You're all right! I think the pics were funny btw, and I'm sure Jr will too. Chop a kids skin off his cock, but don't take a picture of him in a sandwich or in a microwave. I don't think the kid was scared or ever hurt. So, no harm done.

Remember the game Perfection???? These kids make money at it. 10cents a game. Then they go right to double or nothin. I lost $3 to them on Christmas (when the pic was taken), and lost another $2 this past Easter. They then asked if I wanted to play for the $5 I had already lost. Genius!!
