I could've used one of those for, oh, the past month or so.

Today is all about Mr. Blue Sky, though. Thank you, God! I'll never post on that mes -- !

It seems to me that bus fare is pretty crazy in Chicago anyway. I think I was paying $2 a ride or something... which might be what's normal... but, man, that seems like a lot just for riding on the bus. I thought they were supposed to be cheap. With the number of people riding those things, I think the CTA could afford to knock prices down.

That rain shield was pretty sweet though... I'd get one of those.

...I wonder how much drag it creates. 'cause I'm sure the wind goes under it and then hits the back of the shield.

Yeah, but anyway. I'm so sick of having road stripe up my butt and backpack. And wet jeans, man. If I'm running errands, I'm in wet jeans for up to four hours before I get home. (n)

Drag shmag! I want to run around on foot in a big open field with that rain shield.

You should get this (http://www.mccallcolors.com/images/helmets/073/05.jpg) helmet, too, to go with it.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could go outside and play basketball in the rain and not get wet?

hehe i'm glad everyone enjoyed the canopy thing. what a thing of fantastical greatness!

i guess if the wind was coming from behind it would only propel you faster? from the front would slow you down a lil' but that's the price you should pay for being dry and looking totally badasssss.

I rode my bike and it didn't rain! it wasn't even that windy for a change. I did almost kill myself though, trying to squeeze between a bus and a truck when I was trying to turn left. I yelled, "whoaaaaaaah" and booked it. me legs are tired though, I've ridden over 40 miles in the last 4 days after not riding for a few months during the winter. I feel great though.

Another fav. pic of female freestyler Krys Dauchy (the very first girl bmx company sponsored rider ever in '86) and the coolest I've ever actually met in '89 during a visit to Florida in the shop I still work at.

http://www.23mag.com/gens/dakr86.jpg..she could scratch her head with her toes in this contortionist position!
