The older you get, the harder it is to meet people and form new relationships -- mainly because you aren't in environments that introduce you to people, such as school. Most people over 30 have work and home life -- and that's it. Maybe they met new people through things like church or community work, but it usually takes a lot of effort. I think the internet is a valuable tool for older people to meet new and interesting people.
