Good film. Very funny.

I fucking hate David Koechner more than life itself, but in this one I didn't want to kill him every time he was on screen.

Go see it!

Katie Holmes is a bad actress.

i'm DYING to see that movie but it's only in selected cities:(

it looks hilarious from the previews... cholesterol is leading cause of death amongst americans... and the gov. of vermont is slowly killing americans with his vermont cheddar cheese.(y)

too much!! inhales a long puff of a menthol cigarette and exhales slowly

I've been wanting to see this movie for weeks, but my dad has been unwilling to watch it, since he's morally opposed to smoking or some lame crap like that (not to mention this movie is supposed to be SATIRE).

So watching movies on war profiteers ("Lord of War") = fine
Movies on tobacco lobbyists = bad

Gotta love the double standards.

I'm sure I'll persuade him yet...

You're not old enough to see a movie by yourself?

I used to think Katie Holmes was hot, then one day I looked at her and my pupils dilated.

I thought it was a good enough movie. It's not roaringly funny by a long shot, though. Mostly just amusing.

Aaron Eckhart, man. He's so good, always.

In the Company of Men
Your Friends and Neighbors
Erin Brockovich

PS a-z...you forgot THE CORE

heh

Heh. Didn't see it.

I think Katie's all right in this, actually. There's only one scene that really doesn't work, and it's a screenplay problem much more than an acting problem.

I might blow a free rental on it, then. I heard it was just awful, so my mind just blots that shit out.

Next up: Phat Girlz.

I read the book years ago, but I remember/ed nothing about it.

The guy who was cast as the lead, damn, I knew a guy who not only looked like a younger him but who schmoozed like him too. It was fascinating--albeit simultaneously nauseating--to watch that guy work people the way he did and particularly weird when people didn't know that they were being worked.

St. Euthanasius :)

The kid imploring his dad, "Please don't ruin my life." :D

I liked the movie. Lots.

I've seen the kid who played the kid before and I can't place him. He seemed aware of the fact that he was acting. Apart from that, I thought the movie was fun & entertaining, well delivered, well acted.
