umm jackrock will no a bit about this already but i was @ a christening and i met a guy and we got on pretty well and that, but he had to leave kind of abrubtly and we didnt get to exchange numbers or anything. so we didnt hear from each other and then i saw my godmother last night and she told me that she'd seen the guy since the christening and apparently he was upset that he hadnt got the chance to give me his number etc.
so he got my godmother to pass on his number etc, and apparently he wants to go out to the movies.

am very excited, but have never been on a date before so am also quite nervous, anyone got any tips for a 1st date?

Heh, to be honest I've not been on very many real dates. Just hanging out. And the few guys I have gone out with I was friends with for awhile before. Never been out with a guy I just barely knew, so the whole "breaking the ice" thing was moot. Just talk about stuff you both like, movies, music, books, sports, whatever. Talk about your friends, what you like to do. Don't talk constantly and never let him say a word, but don't be a doormat either. Just act normally.
