Tidy links

Ever since the board went down (twice) it has been impossible to post "clean" links (where the link is represented by a single word, rather than a full URL).

When trying to post links inline, I end up with a horribly bloated mess. Any chance it'll be fixed, and we can have our "optional text" back?
