Brand New Beastie Tracks

Aha, got your attention.

I've been thinking about the Vault section that was planned to added to the site just before the new version was finished and tt5b came out.

It was going to contain mixes, videos and more importantly unrealeased tracks. Sounds good, no?

Well, this got me thinking about all of the tracks that never make it to the albums, all the bits that were shelved. We know they exist, I've read/seen many interviews were at least one of the trio brag about how much material they have made for the specific album. Especailly Adrock.

What i'm trying to say is, 'how the heck can we get a hold of this stuff'?

I'm sure that they wouldn't want to realease the stuff as a stand alone album, it's not meant for the masses for sure. But to us it would be solid gold.
The Vault would be a perfect idea to spread out tracks.

We all need to act on this, I'm sure that we could persuade at least Yauch to lend us his ear and see what he thinks. It would be really cool to listen to tracks that never were never intended to be listened to.

I like the message of that song, but it sounds like it came from the sewer not the fault.

Although most of us treated it like the new intergalactic because it was the only thing new out at the time haha.

We would probably get syched if They made a video of MIKE D for 5 minutes of just eating. No singing, no talking, just eating.

We Got The was the first that came to my mind. There are two more All Lifestyles and Crawlspace.

We got The is it for me...maybe Crawlspace aswell. As an individual song I'm not sure I've ever played it, but I don't mind it in the context of the album. I think it flows really well, part of why I like it...I was never keen on All Lifestyles but chorus aside (despite the nice sentiment) I like the rapping, and these days I'm a fan of it.

But yeah, to quit babbling on, I'm definitely with you as far as We got The is concerned. Any one of the b-sides I'd prefer. It's not a bad track, it just does very little for me.
