The last episode I saw was at Waverly Sanatorium. I've been up there. Creepy place. It's at the top of a huge hill surrounded by woods. I refused to go in, but we walked all the way around it and when the wind howled through the body chutes, I took off running.
Anyway, I like this show. If you've never heard of it, it is a reality show about these two plumbers who plumb all day and then hunt ghosts at night. They are pretty skeptical and end up disproving most of the hauntings that they investigate.
They had some substantial evidence of hauntings at Waverly though. Creeped me out, and I lean toward the skeptical side about this stuff.
What about you? Have you had ghostly encounters, or have you ever tried to "investigate" something that was supposedly paranormal activity?

Is this a poll? If so, I choose Echewta.
I've been watching this show for a couple of years now. It's our favorite.

There are no such things as ghost etc. But it is facinating that our minds will play such amazing tricks on us.
That's why the footage/sound captured on the show is so great.

oh, that "green footage" and the sounds of nature and old building?
no. there's emf recordings, heat registers of figures and all kinds of apparitions... get with it.

I enjoy the show and several others that are similar to it...but I'm pretty skeptical about thier findings. I beleive they go to sites that may actually be haunted, but I've worked in TV production and it would be way to easy to fake the results. I beleive in ghosts, I just don't beleive in the honesty in media/television production.
I've had several paranormal expereinces, the most personal of which was my father's ghost and I've talked about it several times on here already. But my first paranormal expereince was in highschool. I went over to a friends house for the first time and she lived in an old victorian fam house that was at least 100 yrs old. Her family had added an enclosed foyer to the house, but the moment I touched the door knob to the original door of the house I got the creeps. It was just a weird sensation I can't quite explain. I wasn't scared, I was just aware of a presence. The door upened up to the hall way and a huge staircase. We immediately went up stairs and as I ran my hand along the banister on the way up I just kept thinking that "this house is haunted". Pretty soon we started talking about the house and my friend said...well, this house is haunted. I said yeah, I know. My friend looked puzzled. "how do you know?" she asked. "Well, I'm not sure but there's something about the staircase." My friends face lost all color. "what?" I asked. "Several people have seen an aparition of a woman hanging from the stairwell!" she replied. fucking creepy. the family estimated that there were several ghosts in the house, one of a woman and one of a little boy, possibly more and every family member had expereinced some sort of paranorma. they had done some research on the house when they started expereincing all this stuff...and though they could not confirm that anyone hung themselves in the stairwell, they could confrim that woman had lived there and that she had had a son who was killed in War.
