I'm nervous

Tomorrow I have to present my project to class.I have to dress up like Michael Powell and show my poster and talk for 3-5 minuets and, I am really scared.I havent been sleeping, I just find away to sabotage mysealf everyday and, I KNOW i'll mess up. Any words of advice?:(

i had this problem before i'd be so nervous but now i just go up there and fuck around and i actually get good grades for my presentations. :D

just pretend that they're not even there. try to relax and chill. even if this is a big project just pretend like it doesn't matter, then u won't be as nervous presenting for sumthing very important rather than presenting for a little thing that nobody cares about. do u get me?:confused:

i'm really nervous when it comes to speaking in front of a lot of people too, but when i get up there, i just be myself, and focus on one person, that helps. :)

and sometimes i just make up jokes on the spot or something to
make 'em laugh, that takes pressure off LOADS.

dunno if that'll work or not, maybe you can use it sometime :o

Awww... Thanks:) . But,there a tough crowd and, we have to be in character (and Mr.powell never jokes LOL). But thanks guys for the great advice. I'll just think of you all if I get even more nervous:o

what i think about when i have to do something i don't want to: Think to yourself that soon, your gonna be sitting at home, watching tv and it's going to be all over in 3-5 minutes. You've done other presentations before, just think about how good you felt afterwards, when it was all over.

pretend ur doing it to a group of friends, pretend that its no biggy. weneva i have presentations i get really pumped b4 hand so that wen i do it im confident etc. try that it might work on u 2.

Well its done:D .I read the first notecard fine but, by the second I stated to panic and, have trouble breathing so, I just read a few lines and, said thats it... I still got an A (95) even though my poster looked like a pretzel.I even started a good conversation between the teacher and, the class. Even though when I stood up and this girl yelled"You look like a boy!" And I was just like "Yeah I'm supposed to"... I wasnt in it for the competition (she won) (good public speeker, very cocky, my teacher likes that), just the grade.Thank you guys sooooo much for helping me I thought of you all!:o
