I don't know why this happens. It's like I need to have a crush on someone, to admire someone irrationally. And if it's a girl, it doesn't get all sexual and confusing. Or maybe it does get slightly sexual but not in the way you might think. I don't know why I do it. I never act on it, don't want to because that would ruin the illusion. I try to find out just enough about her in order to construct a rich fantasy life in which I am her, or she is me, or we're living parallel as if we're telepathic twins.

I have a crush now on a dancer with the Illinois Ballet.

The first time I saw her was at Barnes and Noble, she was standing in line looking dazed and not paying attention. And she was cute, dressed like a dancer. yeah, I don't get excited about girls in person.
