My gym is closed for Passover 2.5 days this week and 2.5 days next week. Not that I want to oppress anyone, but I would like to have access to the equipment while everyone's passing stuff over.
I do enjoy figuring out the Passover-related foods that go into the market this time of year: edible seder plates, kugel (weightless cookies), jelly rings, matzoh (plain & chocolate covered), and--my favorite--Bazooka Joe with Hebrew comics (http://www.chosencouture.com/images/products/hebrewbazzoka-l.jpg).

when i lived in texas, my school would be out for good friday due to the huge catholic popualtion...so i guess it's demographical i suppose
you can see certain neighborhoods completely shutdown in cities directly related to the religious holidays... it's kinda neat...like their own little world
i wonder if there are companies out there that actually pay you for religious holidays off?? and if there are, where can i find them??;)
