it's a fun album!
it is a little cluby...but that ain't bad...
"what girls like" is fun as hell (that Fly Girls beat is bangin)
"Sunshine" is a tad cheesy...but the beat is still great..
"Yoooooou belong in the cityyyyy"....
and "who you wit" is seriously one my fav Jayz tracks, all time. i used to spin that out at clubs all the fuckin time.
"so what i look like, givin a girl have my cash.....like she wrote half my raps..pshh..yeah, i'm havin that.."
classic.

JayZ top 5(to me):
Blueprint(Dynasty I do not count since it is to Jay-Z as the Thug Life was to Pac and Junior Mafia to Biggie more a crew CD then his....although it has some of his best work....stick to the script, give it to me, soon you'll understand and some of his worst Change the Game Parkin Lot Pimpin)
Reasonable Doubt (close 2nd)
Vol.3
Black Album
BluePrint 2(yea I said it)
(do not own Vol1)
Nas:
Illmatic
Stillmatic
Lost Tapes
It Was Written
I Am
(I've heard Nastradamus god awful even the PRemeir, Timbaland beat and LES sucks :( ) his worst rhymes and the worst production he has ever had.

yeah, well that was more of an edit job...and think he was talking about re-doing lyrics/beats for In My Lifetime......
Blueprint 2/2.1 was just major dissapointing seeing as though it came AFTER Blueprint and BEFORE Black Album, two of his best......
still, some good songs on it...in amongst the mess.

Blueprint is overrated. Reasonable Doubt is far better. Don't get me wrong, I loved Blueprint for the longest time, until I finally got around to getting RD.

Blueprint is more verstile then Reasaonable Doubt (some would even say that RD IS overated...given at the time people werent even calling it a classic untill years later when everyone jumped on the wagon, unlike Blueprint which was labeled classic out the gate)

I still say that if you take the top tracks from the Bluepirnt 2 Lp and face em agaisnt the Black Album ones, Blueprint 2 wins.

Your call.Black Lp lack the lyrical intensity and delievery of the best tracks on Blueprint2....I'm still upset that we didn't get the BLACK ALBUM like he tried to hype it as (the 12 best producers in the game, on 12 tracks of fire on the "last" lp of one of, if not the, best MC's of all time). If thats his fianl Lp thats a big let down.

COME ON!....................I really like God's Son, but its still not a patch on Illmatic.
(and don't you think the beat on Book of Rhymes is one of the weakest one the whole CD...probably THE weakest......)
