Cheers for the birthday wishes everybody! I like the mad/bright fonts (Chika, klepto, Kid Pernestable, eric and Mike), even though they hurt my eyes because I am huhhgohhhvher.

Was it at your place? My friends house got trashed. People (namely lead by his older sister) had a passion pop (passionfruit flavoured sparking wine) fight inside the house. The roof is soaked in disgusting 2 dollar champagne. The wooden floors in his kitchen and living room when we woke up this morning were under 1 cm of alcohol. The entire 2 rooms! The house stinks like spew and booze, there are broken bottles everywhere, the carpets are ruined with mud and spew. His mum is going to kill him because its a really nice house.

That reminds me of a booze fest my tween sister and her friends had at our house. They drank so many alcopops there was blue and pink sick everywhere, yeuch.

I had a family and friends BBQ shindig at my house Thursday then on Friday we went to a pub for a meal and drinks, then another pub, then another pub, then a club, then another pub...

I am so worried for when I move out. All my mates are complete pisspots so the house is going to get trashed. We're gonna pay our bond deposit on the assumption that theres no chance in hell we're getting it back.

By the way has there been a massive trend in clubs over there towards indie music? Every nightclub here has an indie night now! Its a pretty good change from all the house music, especially when its usually mashups by soulwax or whitey or errol alkan or phones so you can still dance to it.

Yeah! In fact the pub where we stayed at longest plays an awesome mix of 90's indie and Britpop. Even clubs playing current music tend to have a wing room with that sort of thing playing so it's always around.

A lot of the regulars at these sort of dos are older, I don't remember hearing half the things that are played though, too young on release I reckon. My legal self is going to get on that.

I am also gutted that nobody ID'd me at all last night. :(

Yeah, thats the whole thrill of your first night being 18, showing your id to bouncers with a huge proud grin on your face... then they reject you for having torn jeans or having a bad guy to girl ratio. Until you've set up guestlist scams. Then you're set.
