I've got firefox, and I found out by accident that not only do I not need the "www." prefix, but I can drop the ".com" now, too, and it'll still go there. In fact, a little bit ago, I accidentally left a space between "round" "table" (a pizza place in California) and it still went to "roundtablepizza.com" even though it's not in my history. (Cookies are loaded, however.)

I just think that's kinda cool. Does IE do that sort of thing?

I hate it when certain websites won't work unless a certain letter is capitalized. A pain in the ass.

...are you kidding?

The other side of this pillow is when the site is .edu or .gov or something other than .com. Then you get an error message.

if you type in beastieboys in the url bar and then press ctrl+enter...something amazing happens:.com

in FF if you do shift+enter:.net, shift+ctrl+enter:.org.

AMAZING!

That because firefox does a google "i'm feeling lucky" search if you just type anything in. So it does a google search and just transfers you to the first result. If you just type "beastieboys bbs" in the address bar you'll be taken here. (y)
