Did you hear this? Indeed quite disturbing.
Disturbing 9/11 Tapes Played at Moussaoui Trial
Two new and disturbing audio recordings of calls made from the south tower of the World Trade Center to 9-11 operators on Sep 11, 2001 were played for jurors at the sentencing trial of Zacarias Moussaoui this week. The Alexandria, Virginia jury heard calls placed by Melissa Doi, 32, from the 83rd floor of the south tower and by Kevin Cosgrove, 46, from the 105th floor of the south tower.

Oh my god. Could that 911 operator in that first call have been more incompetent? She just keeps saying "stay calm, stay calm"...wtf? Yeah that's really helping...she's not even telling her to just breath slowly, bla bla, teling her what to do when the oxygen is depleting. The woman's saying "I'm gonna die" and all the fucking lady can say is "stay calm".

ya know... if you panic you're going to do a better job of being able to survive.
Don't come down on the emergency workers for trying to do the only thing they could for these people. The boards were overflowed with calls from the people in these towers.. You're obviously not trained to be working with crisis/ emergency situations. I've handled many and the worst thing you can do is lose your cool. Wtf else was she supposed to tell a person who was about to die?
stop and think about it for a second would you?
