I've actually had these records for a while and was under the impression they were decent. Then, on a road trip today I heard them both in their entirety and was so bored I almost fell asleep, veered off the road and collided with a bus carrying orphans and puppies.

A bunch of you are going to tell me I'm wrong and will, in turn, be wrong yourselves.

And for the record, I love HBMS's White People.

I'm not wrong. Those albums are great. If I really thought about it, I'd say the first HBMS is better than 3030, only just. I guess you just had to be there, man.

No idea what deltron is but there is no way on earth that the second HBMS album is better than the first. I bought that on the strength of rock n roll could never hip hop like this - which is the best thing on it but the rest of the album was a complete surprise - loads of variety, good guests, mad samples - its a proper fuckin album - thought the second one was patchy.

Deltron 3030 is one of the best albums produced by Dan The Automator, as well as fantastic rap by Del The Funkee Homosapien. As for Handsome Boy Modelling School, I must agree that the first one was superduper, and the second one was a bit dissapointing.
Since of course my word is law, I have now ended this quarrel.

I DL a load of deltron 3030 this afternoon - heard of Del but never heard of this before today. pretty good - dont think its as good as hbms but thats only on first listen.
