and stewie said something about how ugly the women are on desperate housewives, and says he'd wait 5 seconds for us to check it out ourselves. i though, "why not?", and switched it to ABC. this old woman with dyed red hair was talking to some guy, so i switched it back. then stewie says something about how ugly that red haired women was. my brother and i looked at each other and laughed. i thought it was a deadly coincidence.

That is hilarious! But I think it is too much to be coincidence. My ex used to work for an advertising firm downtown on Michigan Ave. She was in charge of making sure the clients commercial aired when they were supposed to and a bunch of other shit so we were always watching shows neither one of us wanted to watch because she had to make sure that the new Kodak spot aired exactly at 9:14 during the second commercial break of the season premier of Malcolm In the Middle and blah, blah, blah.

My whole point of all that is I think somehow the producers of Family Guy were able to get a timing of the Desperate Housewives episode and they wrote that little bit with Stewie around it. They were able to synchronize it with red hair chick being on the other channel at the same time.

I can't explain exactly how this was done but it sounds pretty feasible to me.

that's cool!! i think it's creepy when tv messes with me like that... a couple of times i've asked a questions out loud like "what was the name of that guy who died?" and i swear to god the tv would be like "today, so and so died today at ....blah, blah, blah...." and i would be like "oh, thanks tv!!" like i was expecting the answer, but i wasn't... that shit freaks me out... it's like being in a long relationship...you start knowing what the other person is thinking... and i think my tv thinks that i need to get more sexy underwear... how peculiar. :o :rolleyes:
