But... does it matter? It certainly doesn't seem to. After all who cares what the people of this country think?

What's interesting to me is that states like my own Virginia, and others (The Carolinas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Arkansas, etc. etc. ) went to Bush in 04. The numbers now are downright pitiful. In fact, there are now just 4 states (with one being even) that approve of Bush by a slim margin, Utah , Idaho, Wyoming, and Nebraska. I wonder what the collective percentage of the population of this country actually live in these states?
