I ride trams almost everyday, and I've never experienced any trauma. I've been in trams reeking of vomit though.

ok you didnt' watch the news...
For 12 hours 68 people were stuck on a tram, stuck over New York's East River. What was supposed to be a 4 minute gondola ride, turned out to be a 12 hour disaster. (damn i should be a reporter).
among the 68 people were 12 kids, including 2 babies.
Everyone was rescued, no injuies were sustained

It's not big news in Sweden.
I guess it was one of those trams hanging of a line, right?
