for me it's Wild Thing, if only for the cuts, and the drum roll.

Girlies get wild to Funky Cold Medina when it comes on though.

Yeah, it was my first real rap album.

It's too bad that these are pretty much the only singles he's really known for because Loced After Dark actually has some very good songs on it. I mean, lyrically it was whatever, but the production was excellent.

Don't get Close, Cheeba Cheeba and that one that sampled The Eagles (With the fader 'Eh eh eh eh, ooeeh eh eh eh') were all dope. You're right, most of it was, it was an excellent album, beat-wise.

I want one of these polled songs played at my wedding. I have accepted the fact that Shimmy Shimmy Ya is unlikely to be an option on the dancefloor. Maybe some old funk shit, too. What did you play at yours?

edit: The song I was thinking of was Cuttin Rhythms. Nuts.

Cutting Rhythms? The one with the Band On The Run sample? Yeah, that Cheeba Cheeba and Don't Get Close were the best tracks, easily. On Fire's up there too.

I compiled the entire playlist for our reception, which I am reluctant to share here, publicly. But yeah, suffice to say that the hip hop was kept to a slight minimum. I went more the Zapp, James Brown, Prince direction wherever I wanted to inject a little soul into the mix.

Don't ask one thing in the poll title, then switch the order of the options in the actual question.
Don't get close.

Band on the Run. Thank you.

Music-wise, pretty much what I been thinking. Cheers.

after careful deliberation, wild thing by a nose. Because Loc's dj had that dope deck around his neck like a guitar and loc did the wop my favourite b-boy dance. Both video's had that hot mixed race looking girl in them, so both winners in my book. I think she was in the bust a move video as well.

Yeah Yeah, that shit in the Wild Thing video is great. Loc was the Hip-Hop Robert Palmer, at least according to the video director.

Whichever video had the dachshund in it (Medina, I think), also featured Mario C in the movie theatre. Oh, and Flea is in the Bust a Move vid, with pom poms on his trousers. And then him and Keidis are in Ice Cube's 'Wicked', all skinny and junked-out. I could carry on...

MY 'POOTER HASS BEN HAXORSAZ

anyway, both tracks will tear a dancefloor apart and really, the only thing seperating them is Heiress' dancing.
