and I'm up eatin' cake.
At first I thought I might be going into labour. But then I realised no, I just needed to pee real bad and eat some cake.

Go to bed and put us all out of our misery.
I'm 2 hours ahead of you and I'm up for no reason. I don't even have cake.

I am pleased to report that my ass has remained consistent in its pre-pregnancy size, which, whilst pleasantly round and pliant, cannot really be appropriately called 'fat'. Trust me, I have been monitoring this situation closely.

I want some cake. there was a big piece of cake left on the stove overnight. Before I threw it away I was thinking it was a terrible shame and considered maybe taking a bite, but when I poked it, it was hard. :(

Whew, nearing the end.
Nothing like that "any minute" feeling paired with the "I can't wait to get this kid out of me" feeling. Good times.

Yeah, I'm kind of more having the "Oh dear god, it's going to come out! through THERE!" panic feelings, actually.

I have never liked sweets and for some reason, they all taste like soap to me. I can't even eat candy.
I don't even eat cake on my birthdays and my mom substitutes it with her meatloaf, my favorite. I'm serious too, she puts candles on it for me.

Does she put the exact number of candles on it? My mum insisted on putting 28 candles on my last birthday cake, even after I threatened to put the exact number of candles on her cake and/or set it on fire for her birthday.

Pshh, its not as bad as they make it out to be. Its the ordeal of recovery they don't tell you about. Both the labor and the recovery went well for me. The labor lasted ~5 hours and the recovery was fairly nothing--I got up and walked (still in the birthing gown) to the cafeteria to find something to eat. :) (I mention this because not all recoveries are an ordeal. Some are pretty much nothing.)
You'll be fine and it'll be an amazing experience! I hope you have time and inclination to come back here afterwards and tell us about it.

Hey, does anyone know if Yorkshire Rose has had her baby yet? I'm pretty sure she was due a week or so before me, so that's like... pretty much now.

it may take a few months to get the pics because they're in my mom's photo album and it might be a little while till I see her.
By that time, I would already have forgotten to post them.
I am serious though. I've always been looked at as abnormal because I can't eat sweets and my mom asked me if there would be anyway that she could substitute the cake with so I told her that I always loved her meatloaf. This tradition started on my 7th birthday.
Believe me, I feel very deprived because I'll walk by a bakery window and see a well sculpted cake and it looks appealing but to me, it really looks like a creative mound of soap.

Very misleading thread title.
I thought this thread was going to be about McGriddles.
