my speakers are like that. they rattle now whenever the bass kicks in. honestly though, i've been dealing with it for so long i'm almost used to the sound, i've convinced myself to like it.

i don't blast it with the windows down, though. i keep it low if i have to roll down the windows (i have no air conditioning).

See: that's the decent thing to do. I guess it's a pet peeve of mine, but these dorks that drive around blasting their blown speakers with the window down, as if we're supposed to be ...impressed? I don't get it. It'd be like boasting that your girlfriend is Maggie Thatcher.

I went to see the Beatnuts recently and stood next to the speaker for the whole set. My ears had a ringing in them for 2 or 3 days and haven't been quite the same since.
