The Beasties and Dust Brothers should link back up for the next album. Their influence on Paul's Boutique needs to be expanded. Anything the Beasties do will turn out great, but reinserting the Dust Brothers with some instruments and samples would be the shit! They should link back up and do something that completly blows our minds. Anyone listen to Beck's Guero? It is a classic reinvention of Odeylee. Imagine what Dust Brothers would do for Beasties now.

Maybe hook up for a track.....but an entire album???
PB is much under-rated, and has been, and will be for a long time.
This is what makes PB the Beastie's "mint". And one of that main ingredient is the "Dust Bros". :D
Im sure the Beasties know that... and so do the Dust Bros.
The question is will they leave it at PB? And if so im ok with it.
It was the time in the Boys life that suited the sound and chemistry with the Dust Brothers.
I would assume that if they did hook back up and do another album.....they would probably try too hard not to sound like PB, but it would leak toward it. Hence, not as good as PB. Nothin ever will be as good...in that type of sound for any album.
Any agree?

You're 100% right about Paul's Boutique. Will never be duplicated. Insert the instruments with the Dust Brothers and you will get a masterpiece with influences from Paul's Boutique and the more instrumental albums. Could be a masterpiece beyond Paul's Boutique.
