Disappointed in that one. They found two wackos to show how crazy the conspiracies are. There are some "grounded" questions that could be asked instead for conspiracies that could have been a possibility and proven wrong. Instead, they go after the loons who think bush had a playstation and crashed the planes remotely.
This episode wasn't that good in my opinion.

yeah....i love the show, but it is hit or miss.
i think it's tough to go into great detail in only 12 min.
their show on the Bible, for one....was great.
i think it's just important for some of the people on here to here from people who really can't be called corporate shills...they alienate everyone who isn't a secular athiest.
of course Draay and others will quickly color them as hacks, or drudge up some story about them being liars...
whatever...

You really are a hoot Q... I could spend my time linking endlessly from sources who would dismiss your daily blather, but what's the point?
You are right in your mind, and nothing is going to change that. So, prattle on ...
Oh, and P & T are alright. I find them amusing. One thing I could point out however is they sometimes employ the same brand of fallacious reasoning that the show ostensibly opposes.

"i could...i just don't wanna! hmph!"
that's great, D.

if they're saying things you agree with...they're alright and amusing.
if not...then they're using fallacious reasoning and being hyprcrits.
i see.

Just like conspiracy theorists do.
I thought it was great, especially for exposing these people for who they are. Class A Nut Jobs!

I didn't say that. I said if there was one thing I could point out that they are hypocritical on, that was it.

A class A nutjob should be defined as someone who believes everything they are told.

Well it's not. Your defining sheep and that term works on both sides of the fence. Common sense is far too rarely used these days.

If you want to point to common sense, then actually impliment what you are indicating. Or are you afraid of a little egg on your face?

Common sense tells ME that the Dad of a very good friend of mine died on flight93 and is not hiding out in Area 51 to cover up some government bullshit.
What's that you were saying about eggs?

I was there bud, and I talked to people firsthand. Ask a New Yorker if they think the government knew anything about this attack beforehand. Ask some of the people who watched other people swan dive 80 stories while on fire if they think a full and independent investigation was EVER undertaken.
Oh and are you trying to imply that the "conspiracists" don't believe any innocent people died? I don't get your analogy. The main reason I even care about this whole thing is because so many innocents died. I am expected to just give the Bush admin. the benefit of the doubt when there are so many inconsistencies and unanswered questions? The admininstration who has taken spin to a new level should be trusted that they are completely free of any blame for this? Not fucking likely. Like I said before on another thread, they are at the very least guilty of incompetence and they never even owned up to that.

interesting points. doesn't really prove anything either way though. just shows that some people are paranoid and will believe anything.
what i didn't like is how they kinda suggested we should just believe that it was an unforseen terrorist attack AND HOW DARE WE QUESTION THAT? you know?
they pull the "lots of people died" card, which is unecessary and kinda childish.
oh yeah, and that little speech at the end - what the fuck? that completely ruined it.

I think it was Muslims, perhaps with the bombs thrown in by the American government to make it work. 49% of New Yorkers believe all the top government officials were warned because they were. Islam says to do that to justify the act, so why wouldn't they have been. There is plenty of evidence for that. What Christianity says is to forgive, which is common sense, which is why I'm against the war in Afghanistan, especially since they did 9/11 in retaliation for us bombing their embassy.

Penn and Teller don't do as much research as we do.
