Never heard much mentioned on here about a band who are on of the best in my opinion. I know they got a new album out soon - just wondered if anyones heard anything from it - I havent.
They are a killler live act although not always consistent - lot better since Mani became permanent bassist.
Anyone else like them/disklike them.

Just seen the video for country girl (which is a top tune), I'm sitting there thinking "nice jacket, Bobby" and watchin some blonde trash wherever she goes and it came to me that i seen a very similar video before.
Smack My Bitch Up ,only this time you see her face all the way thru - checked out the website and as sure as shit its directed by the same dude (jonas Akerlund) and since i found that i like the video less cos its abit unoriginal. Never mind the tune is fuckin great cant wait for the album - sounds like its gonna be a mish mash of everything theyve done before.

personally I think the new song is amazingly average. country rock using paint by numbers. "what can a poor boy do?" man, that line was cliche even in the 60s.

compared to a lot of their stuff and that list i put up - yeah it prolly is balls but (and im being biased here) Primal screams "balls" is a loads better than a lot of the balls out there at the minute. Its throwaway and I hope the album has a bit more substance but I still cant help likin the single.
