I swear when every single one of those fuckers wins a match even by the slightest margin they always harp on like "omg i just totally hosed you man"

Heh, the only net playable PS2 games I have I listed. You should have Hardware Online Arena though, it should've came free on your network access disc.

The network access disc, which Sony should've mailed to you when you signed up to yourgamingname.com along with the PIN to validate the account, has it on it. Bung the disc in, and far left menu item "Play game" or some such will be Hardware Online Arena.

If it came with a disc (The EU disc that is), it should be on that. Instead of going to "central station" go to play game. It's there, but it isn't obvious.

Network disc should have a picture of a sand-buggy on the CD surface. That buggy is in the game HOA.

If not, phone up their helpline, and say you have a US network adaptor (they don't come with a network access disc, so they'll happily oblige to send you one). They'll give you a yourgamingname.com hardware code you can use to create an account, and when you create an account, you'll get the network access disc mailed to you *for free* with the PIN for that new account. It will have the free game on it. It is worth it, the game's a full proper bona fide game.

Ah, well I have "Get Connected" "Central Station" and the right hand square is "Play".

Sounds like you have an old disc. Probably why they are mailing out new ones. Speak to Sony's networking help line, tell them you got a US network adaptor, and as such it has no network access disc, and they'll sort you out.
