And I stumble to the kitchen, pour myself a cup of ambition, and yawn and stretch and try to come to life.

I've had this fucking song in my head since the 5 hour train journey yesterday when some gaylord/woman's phone kept going off with the opening piano chords to it. I tried sleeping, reading, and cranking up my Nas CD but nothing could rid my brain of the Parton. I'm considering medical help.

I'm going to conduct a scientific experiment into that song, i am convinced women are UNABLE to stay still when it comes on. In every pub/club i have ever been in, once those opening bars hit, every single chick in the place starts jiving, whether sitting down or not.

See, when I think of a song that starts like that, it goes something like this:

Wake up in the morning, gotta shake this feeling,
I gotta face a day of school.
What's to be afraid of ? I can ask a question, or maybe even bend a rule.

If ANYONE knows what I'm talking about, I will love you always.

I always think of the original:

Wake up in the morning, feeling shy and lonely,
gee, I gotta go to school.
I don't think I can make it, don't think I can take it,
I wonder what I'm gonna do.
But when I look around and see,
that someone is smiling right at me,
wait, someone’s talkin' to me, hey, I gotta new friend.
Everybody can succeed, all you need is to believe,
be honest with yourself, forget your fears and doubts,
come on give us a try at Degrassi Junior High.
