That hacker that the US are trying to deport for perusing the Pentagon's computer network stated that many of the PCs he accessed had folders setup for image editing. "Raw" and "Filtered." Apparently photoshopping of images and footage is common place.

Not unless the camera was recording @ a high shutter speed, which security cameras rarely due in order to handle low light adequately; I'm not sure how in the world you would expect to see a clear image of a 757 in that clip.

How come the popular mechanics magazine doesn't cover the amazing flying skills of flight 77 and the incompetence in flying school of the supposed hijacker?

They also don't cover this autopsy list of the passengers that includes no Arabs which apparently was obtained by the freedom of information act, coming from a conservative website. Three unknown passengers sneaked in.

Well I'm not going to sit here and claim that the images were crystal clear - they were not. They were just where someone who had the clip had probably paused the clip and took screenshots - so yeah - the "frame by frame" thing is technically wrong.

However - the thing is this - the US government is saying that they have JUST released THIS clip. That is bullshit. It has been around for ages. Why are the media just getting onto this clip but were not interested when it was on "conspiracy" sites?

If the media are to accept this clip as showing the plane hitting the pentagon, they then HAVE to look at the very little amount of damage caused.

For a plane that was apparently under the control of incompetent pilots to fly directly into the pentagon at x-hundred miles per hour at 5 feet from the ground, leaving no evidence/damage across the lawns, a 12(?) foot hole and pretty much no debris - is nigh on impossible.

Will the media look at this?

As an individual with some flying experience, I would suggest that the flying skills of the hijackers were not amazing.

In particular, the comments of Air Traffic Controllers who said things like "It flew like a fighter jet" need to be put in context. The reason why a passenger airline flies like it does is not because of the technical limits of the aircraft but because of the legal limits and guidelines on how a passenger aircraft should be flown for the safety of the passengers on board and also considerations of fuel consumption.

I would imagine that the hijackers flew not expertly but without consideration of passenger safety guidelines or the long term environmental impacts of their fuel consumption rates.

Personally, I am confident that I could fly a commercial airliner into a building (If I had the inclination, which I do not).

I too have seen the 9/11 conspiracy video, and I'm not completely satified one way or the other. If the government wants to prove the conspiracy people wrong, all they would have to do is show the security video shot from the two hotels overlooking the pentagon, which the government seized minutes after the attack. (they admitted to seizing it, that is public knowledge not conspiracy) So I would like to see that film! Why the secrecy?

i think this is the biggest issue at this point. the 9-11 commision was bullshit. there was so much that was confidential, top secret etc... that wouldnt be released for review in the commision. and the way that george dubya and dick handled being questioned by the commision! did you see that extra clip from michael moores documentry! man! i cant believe those assholes get away with anything! they wouldnt testify before the public, they would only testify together in closed session where nothing could be made public, they would only testify if they didnt have to do it under oath!
