Crazy funky remix I made recently. I would really appreciate any feedback as I can't judge my own music fairly :). Finding enough good samples to change the beat as much as I did on this remix was really fun.

Just click on "free" and then it will let you download after a few seconds.

Here's my work-in-progress (very nearly finished, just gotta tweak it some) All Lifestyles remix:

Easier way to hear them:

This link might get deleted though, I'm probably flouting Myspace's copyright restrictions by uploading my mixes.

Just added my Triple Trouble remix to the myspace page, check it out (y)

Yes, it does have kicks on the one, seven, and eleven (not to mention snares on the 5 and 13)

I like them oldschool beats, they go really nice with the flow but the overall sound is a bit weak... especially the high frequencies, they sound like they were filtered or something.

Yes, I feel the same way. I am not too good at getting the levels and the mixing right on my songs yet. Do you know any good guides out there on how that stuff works? I've been focusing entirely on just finding samples and putting everything together.

I definitely want to learn way more about this sort of thing. I love making beats, been doing it for years, but I'm sick of them never sounding as crisp or clean as I'd like.

Thanks for the feedback.
