My grandma's in the hospital. I don't know what happened, but my grandfather called my cousin and told her that my grandma fell and hit her head, the EMT's came over and sent her directly to the hospital.

It sucks, because this isn't the first time it's happened. She falls a few times a year, and usually gets bruises and sometimes breaks bones. It's really sad. But this time she hit her head. She always said that her doctor told her she was lucky she never hit her head. :-/

I feel super awful too because the last time I visited her was 5 days after Wayne broke up with me. She gave me a hug and told me that she didn't think he was good enough for me and didn't like the idea of me dating that poika. And I told her I was glad that I visited her because she makes me happy. I still feel bad that I was so upset around her though, because I know I probably made her feel bad and I hate making grandma feel bad. And I don't want that to be the last time she sees me either.

:( I hope it turns out ok. Hopefully they check her out for a stroke--sometimes people have them and fall down and the intial symptoms are so mild that people don't realize it was a stroke...so that's probably why the EMT sent her to the hosipital. but if it is anything like a storke and they catch it early they can usually get a full recovery. regardless it's good that she's getting checked out.

It's happened before though, they never said it was a stroke. I think she just gets off balance and falls. She's got osteoporosis, so maybe that contributes.

Yeah- osteo would contribute to the breaking bones when falling, and older people generaly have a harder time walking and keeping balance.

I hope everything turns out okay and she's out and ready to talk boys with you again on the fly.

Thanks...it turns out she was released, which is good.

I couldn't deal with grammy dying when I haven't seen her in 5 months. I miss her. :(
