Thinks they will still be here when these boards close? Obviously this question requires you to guess when the Beastie Boys will stop selling enough records to warrant their own message board, or when the internet is switched off by the New World Government, or when the Saudi Hackerz finally find a way to subdue tpk's hair for good.

OR when do you think you will leave the board? Cuz some people have been here for like 8 years or something ridiculous, can you never see yourself "growing out" or getting bored of the board? I think I will forget about the board when I go on my acid-fuelled pilgrimage in a few years. (y)

It's a good question. Too weird to look at it in terms of when the Bboys will no longer be making records or whatever...I can't think of it like that. Even then, I'm sure another board will be around so everyone can hang out there.

It's strange having this, as I call it, alternative online social life. Weird that I interact with all of you and tell you more things than say, the people I work with. But I like it...it's nice for me to have a place to come to where I generally don't have to hold back. I have no idea how long I'll be around...I'm hoping at some point to greatly minimalize my life, which probably includes no internet, so I guess it would come at that point.

Hmm, I donno. I tried to quit but it's like a curse. I can't resist the temptation. I've been coming here almost everyday for 2 years and don't even know why, it's like I gotta know what's new with the Beastie Boys and you people. I used to post on the X Large board about 10 years ago, and was pretty regularly posting on there for a couple of years. I think it closed down and then I stopped posting on forums and boards for a long time. But yep, I quite like this board. So after an 8 year hiatus, I am back enjoying the banter and threads.
